Church of St. Peter in Gallicantu -- Jerusalem

Gallicantu (cock-crow in Latin). The church was built on the slopes of Mount Zion to commemorate St. Peter's three denials of Christ and his eventual repentance. It is also thought to be the site of the palace of the High Priest Caiaphas, where Christ was put on trial.

Jerusalem -- Garden of Gethsemane and Church of All Nations

Officially known as the Basilica of the Agony, the church is situated on the Mount of Olives near Gethsemane, where Christ prayed before his arrest. It is popularly called the Church of All Nations since 12 nations contributed funds for its construction.

Church of Mary Magdalene -- Jerusalem

Built by Czar Alexander III of Russia in 1888; also contains the crypt of Czar Nicholas' sister-in-law, Grand Duchess Elizabeth, who was killed during the Russian revolution in 1917.
