Church of the Holy Sepulchre : Built on the hill of Calvary on the spot where many Christians believe that Christ was crucified, buried and resurrected.  Photography in this church is one of my biggest challenges:  it's a cavernous structure, very dimly lit, and with multiple underground levels with even less light.    Thankfully I have the opportunity to return as often as I like to practice my technique :-)

Jerusalem -- Garden of Gethsemane and Church of All Nations : Officially known as the Basilica of the Agony, the church is situated on the Mount of Olives near Gethsemane, where Christ prayed before his arrest.  It is popularly called the Church of All Nations since 12 nations contributed funds for its construction.

Church of St. Peter in Gallicantu -- Jerusalem : Gallicantu (cock-crow in Latin).  The church was built on the slopes of Mount Zion to commemorate St. Peter's three denials of Christ and his eventual repentance. It is also thought to be the site of the palace of the High Priest Caiaphas, where Christ was put on trial.
